Having often felt overshadowed by the thoughtfulness that JFK showed Jackie when picking out gifts, Aristotle strived to pick out a perfect gift for Jackie from Van Cleef and Arpels, one of her favorite jewelry boutiques.
The pendant was originally a large opaque emerald centered among 4 carats of diamonds, while the earrings featured an opaque emerald drop below each floral stud. As an added bit of fun and versatility, the earrings come apart so that the floral stud can be worn by itself.
